What HotClip is
HotClip is a macOS clipboard manager distributed from hotclip.app. It stores clipboard history locally under the signed-in Mac user account and uses a signed Sparkle update feed for in-app updates.
Allowlist details
For workplace review, allow HTTPS access to the following HotClip resources:

The website is served without third-party analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels, or external font providers. Downloads and update checks use the HotClip domain.

All published archive hashes are available at downloads/checksums.txt. macOS also verifies the app and update signatures before launch or update installation.
Privacy posture
- Clipboard contents are not uploaded by the website.
- The app stores clipboard history locally by default.
- Sensitive clipboard transactions marked concealed, transient, or auto-generated are rejected before storage.
- The website does not load third-party analytics or receive clipboard contents from the app.
